BUILT FOR THIS CHAPTER

A place to try.
A reason to believe.

Middle school brings new friendships, bigger emotions, and more decisions. Explore gives young people room to practice.

Students learn through role-play, collaborative challenges, movement, and reflection. School, friendship, and everyday-life scenarios make each skill relevant now.

Every session focuses on one behavior shift and something finished to take forward. Personal sharing is voluntary, with neutral examples always available.

Project E.M.P.A.C.T. leads the live learning. Project NexGen supplies age-appropriate video lessons in English and Spanish.

Middle school students practicing communication through a facilitated role-play activity

LESS WATCHING. MORE TRYING.

Practice a voice.
Find your confidence.

A boundary said aloud. A choice talked through. An idea tested together.

Short activities, movement, and supportive feedback help students put the skill into practice. Each week ends with an if-then plan they can use outside the room.

THE WEEKLY LEARNING LOOP

Learn it. Try it.
Take it with you.

01 / GET READY

See the skill.

A short, age-appropriate Project NexGen video introduces the week’s idea at the start of the session.

02 / IN THE ROOM

Put it into practice.

Hands-on challenges and reflection create one behavior shift and a finished piece of work.

03 / AFTER THE SESSION

Try it in real life.

A Project NexGen reinforcement video, a practical challenge, and an if-then plan carry the learning forward.

04 / WITH SUPPORT

Talk it through.

A weekly prompt connects the skill with a mentor or approved support person, as agreed with your partner program.

OPEN-DOOR ENROLLMENT

Every week is
a way in.

A new skill each week.
A starting point when someone is ready.

Referrals don’t always arrive in Week 1. Your program can keep moving.

For partners that need ongoing enrollment, the ten-week Pathway can run back to back. Approved participants complete a welcome video and a 30-minute orientation, then join the next session when a seat is available.

Each week brings a skill to practice, finished work for a portfolio, and a weekly certificate. Participants continue around the cycle to complete all ten weeks; their final certificate and 90-day Proof Loop follow their own timeline.

Explore and Launch run in separate groups. We agree on capacity, referral approval, orientation, and progress tracking with your team.

FOR SCHOOLS & PROGRAM PARTNERS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

How is Explore different from Launch?

Explore uses school, friendship, and everyday-life situations for ages 11–14. Launch serves ages 15–25 and adults 25+, with life skills and career readiness adapted to those groups. The editions meet separately.

Can a student join after Week 1?

Yes, in an agreed rolling-entry cycle. After referral approval and a welcome orientation, a student can join the next session when a seat is available. Individual attendance and completion are tracked through the repeating ten-week cycle.

What do students leave with?

Weekly certificates and a growing portfolio of practiced skills and finished work, including a World Map, EQ Toolkit Card, goals, a simple money plan, a Career Explorer Profile, and an idea pitch.

How do you show progress?

We agree on participation tracking, weekly feedback, portfolio evidence, and program reporting with your organization. The 90-day Proof Loop adds follow-through after graduation.
